It's our old friend 'transversal' again, cropping up with another new identity. It's just one of those words.

In this context I think it means cross-company - i.e. affecting all departments in a company. Everyone in a given organisation needs to be concerned with computer literacy, professionalism, environmental awareness, labour relations, health and safety in the workplace etc. etc.
