Este es un municipio de alta pobreza, tiene unas fiestas patronales en honor a San Lazaro muy interesantes que se inician con la elección de los Priostes, personas que a modo de “promesas” se encargan de repartir comidas y bebidas entre la feligresía .

Aqui feligresia se refiere a las personas que andan en las prosesiones.

No creo que haya forma de traducir Priostes. Ahora, si te querés referir a feligresía como las personas que andan en las procesiones, en websters dictionary aparece como : Procession : a group of individuals moving along in an orderly often ceremonial way.
