"duly initialed records" or "duly initialed record books"

With reference to documents attesting to the various activities or accounting information of a company, both terms are acceptable.

libros rubricados

I can see that this query is quite old, and don't even know if anyone will see this notice, but I am translating a "Certificacion contable de ingresos", and came across a similar phrase: "dejo constancia que esta informacion no surge de libros rubricados...", and it occurred to me that a possible translation could be "for the record, this information did not emanate from authenticated books...". I am not an English native speaker though, and would very much appreciate your comments of my translation of the whole phrase! Could you also tell me if the word "contable" needs to be translated on the title? I rendered it as "Certificate of income". Muchas gracias a todos
