Swedish term
domstolsfix
Swedish to English
Law/Patents
Geography
Vattendom
"Vid redovisning av höjder i detta dokument används det gällande höjdsystem som utgår från huvudfixen (domstolsfix) på en höjd av..."
Under the heading 'Höjdsystem' this refers to a court (vattendom) determined 'benchmark' (my usage). I can write around it like this, but I wonder if there is a specific term for this under the older regulatory system (in the 1950s) for determining water rights. This is a survey doc that describes, among other things, the actual location and heights of a dam.
(ps This isn't a 'court fix' as might be used in the US...)
