English to Italian: Formation of organoclays by a one step synthesis
Source text - English Abstract
Different lamellar hybrid inorganic–organic materials having as inorganic parent 2:1 (T.O.T.) phyllosilicates such as talc, saponite, pyrophyllite, beidellite and montmorillonite were prepared by a one step synthesis. The solids were characterized by X-ray diffraction, solid state 29Si, 27Al, and 19F nuclear magnetic resonance and transmission electron microscopy. XRD patterns show that solids with inorganic parents having octahedral sheet based on aluminum exhibit a lamellar structure similar to MCM-50, whereas those with magnesium have an organophyllosilicate structure. In the first case, the absence of hexacoordinated aluminium was confirmed by 27Al NMR and an ordered stacking of the layers is observed on TEM micrographs. In opposite, a disorder is observed on the TEM images of organophyllosilicates. The formation of the 2:1 structure was found to be controlled mainly by the insertion of silicic species in the interlamellar space of brucite like layers.

Source text - English Martin Luther knew as well as any man who ever lived that every day with Jesus is not sweeter than the day before. And according to Roland Bainton, he wrote these words in the year of his deepest depression:
And though this world with devils filled
Should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God has willed
His truth to triumph through us.
The prince of darkness grim,
We tremble not for him—
His rage we can endure,
For lo, his doom is sure:
One little word shall fell him.

Source text - English For these reasons, when I read the Old and New Testaments, I read them as the word of God. God is not silent in my life. He is uncomfortably vocal and precise about all kinds of things. I count it as a singular act of grace on his part that he has appointed for me that my life work is to understand his word and teach his church. When the Bible speaks, God speaks. Which means that the things said about the word of God in the Bible apply to the Bible. And I have been simply overwhelmed in preparing for this message by how much the Bible has to say about the value of the word of God. What a treasure we have in the very words of God! "More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb" (Psalm 19:10).

I'm a native Italian speaker, and I have graduated in the UK in Modern Languages & Translation and Interpreting Studies (BA with First Class Honours).
Careful and meticulous, I provide high-quality translations from English into Italian.
Friendly and outgoing, albeit always professional, I am an interpreter who takes time for thorough background research and who is able to put all parties at ease in the triadic exchange, whatever the situation.
I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator since 2004 and, during this time, I have also worked as an in-house translator for a total of 13 months.
My experience includes the following:
My work includes interpreting for prestigious football clubs of the Premier League and Serie A (press conferences, newspaper and fanzine interviews, liaising with supporters, paramedics and the police) and TV channels.
I have also experience in SCUBA diving scenarios, having interpreted for instructors teaching PADI Open Water Courses and being myself a PADI Master Scuba Diver.
I have provided my interpreting services for several business meetings.
I have experience in localisation, having been involved in the initial set-up of the Italian version of an online casino, the English version of an estate agent's website and several other prestigious holiday/leisure and IT software websites.
I have assisted Italian engineers several times with the installation and maintenance of machines in the UK.
My work experience also includes Police, Court and Social Services Interpreting (e.g. CAFCASS).
Translating:Technical (IT, Chemistry, Science, Engineering): My experience includes a thesis on organoclays, placards and literature for an Italian Aquarium, a manual for a video titler, a GPS manual, Health and Safety equipment, etc. I have also worked as the main Italian in-house translator for a leading company in the field of anti-virus software.
