I am a MD specialized in OB/GYN with 20 years' experience in this field. More than 20 years' experience in translations mainly in the health sciences area (medicine and nursing textbooks and journals, pharmaceutical industry). Expertise in Insurance and Loss Adjustment (technical language) and Legal areas (contracts, agreements, etc). Edition and proofreading works. English-Spanish-English translator and interpreter Registered by the Colombian Government since 1995.

More than 10 years of freelance translation work for the pharmaceutical industry in Colombia. During the years 1997 to 99 I participated in the successful translation and edition of 9 medicine and nursing textbooks and manuals published by Harcourt-Brace and assigned to us by Harcourt-Brace España.

I was recently (February 21st, 2013) awarded a Master's Degree in Creative Writing, Universidad Nacional de Colombia
