I am a
professional Arabic speaking translator /interpreter, with BA in the English
language and its literature from Sudan, Post-graduate Diploma in Translation
Studies from South Africa, accreditation as legal translator/interpreter in
UAE courts and an 18-years’ experience in the field of
translation/interpreting as well as journalistic writing. My career covers
working with NGOs in East Africa, Southern African region and the Arab GCC
countries (mainly in the field of education and humanitarian work). I have so
far done interpreting/translation projects at conferences throughout the
African continent, the GCC region and Asia, for prestigious institutions such
as Al-Jazeera Media Network, Pan-African Parliament, International
Telecommunications Union (ITU) to name but a few.

I’m
currently working as freelancer, rendering my expert services to quality
