Source text - English There are two general kinds of options, the call option and the put option. A call option gives the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy the underlying asset for a pre-specified price and at a pre-specified date. A put option gives the holder the right, but not the obligation, to sell the underlying asset for a pre-specified price and at a pre-specified date.
The underlying asset in the definition of an option can be virtually anything, like potatoes, the weather, or stocks.

Source text - Spanish Mi casa de Salamanca tenía dos pasillos paralelos, el de delante y el de atrás, que se comunicaban por otro, pequeño y oscuro, en ése no había cuartos, lo llamábamos el trazo de la hache. Las habitaciones del primer pasillo daban a la plaza de los Bandos, las del otro a un patio abierto donde estaban los lavaderos de la casa, y eran la cocina, la carbonera, el cuarto de las criadas, el baño y el cuarto de atrás. Era muy grande y en él reinaban desorden y la libertad, se permitía cantar a voz en cuello, cambiar de sitio los muebles, saltar encima de un sofá desvencijado y con los muelles rotos al que llamábamos el pobre sofá, tumbarse en la alfombra, mancharla de tinta, era un reino donde nada estaba prohibido.
Translation - German Mein Haus in Salamanca bestand aus zwei Parallelgängen, dem hinteren und dem vorderen, die durch einen weiteren verbunden waren, der klein und dunkel war und wo es keine Zimmer gab; diese nannten wir das gezeichnete H. Die Zimmer des ersten Ganges gingen zur "Plaza de los Bandos" hinaus, die des anderen Ganges zu einem offenen Hof, wo die Waschtröge des Hauses standen und wo die Küche, der Kohlenmeiler, das Bedienstetenzimmer, das Bad und das Hinterzimmer waren. Dieses war sehr groß und in ihm regierte die Unordnung und Freiheit. Es war erlaubt aus voller Kehle zu singen, die Möbel umzustellen, auf dem heruntergekommenen Sofa mit den kaputten Federn, das wir das arme Sofa nannten, herumzuhüpfen, sich auf den Teppichboden zu legen und ihn mit Tinte zu bekleckern. Bio
I am a student of European Business Administration and about to graduate in summer 2009. After school I spent one year working and travelling in New Zealand and Australia before I started my studies at the University of Bamberg in the South of Germany. From September 2008 till June 2009 I took part in an exchange programme at the "Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain)". Right now I started working on my graduation thesis about financial markets.
At the age of ten I started learning English and at the age of 14 I started learning Spanish. I continued studying both languages until I was 19 and even later in University with the specialization on Business. I have always been devoted to both languages and I feel fortunate to be able to bring them to perfection by spending a lot of time abroad.
My further devotion are sports. Especially volleyball, which I have been playing for about 13 years now; sometimes even with great success, e.g. the German Youth Championship. Later on, I started coaching two younger teams of girls for about 6 years and, still, am very happy with them.
