Source text - English Когда наступает такая дата как 100 лет со дня рождения художника, начинаешь представлять себе ценность его вклада в художественную жизнь страны. Сравнивать творчество наивных художников и профессиональных – напрасный труд – они не сравнимы. Но, всматриваясь в картины наивных художников, постигаешь таинство воплощённой в них души художника, которое столь оригинально и поэтично, что невольно захватывает тебя, с остановкой дыхания, тоской по утраченной красоте окружающего тебя мира и радостью по вновь явившейся магии природы. И уже речь идёт ни о каком-то вкладе, а о том, чтобы творчество такого художника не пропало втуне, было открыто всем, кто радеет об интеллектуальном богатстве России, не оскудевшей яркими талантами. Остановись, зритель и читатель! Замри и радуйся обретённой встрече с художником Николаем Ивановичем Козыриным. И тебе не будет жаль потраченного времени ни на рассматривание репродукций его работ, ни на посещение его столь редкой выставки.
Translation - Russian When such date as the 100 year anniversary of an artist’s birth comes, you begin to picture an artist’s cultural contribution to his or her country. Comparing the creative work of the naïve artists with the work of the professional artists is wasted labor, as they are not comparable. However, if you scrutinize paintings of the naïve artists, you perceive a sacrament of the incarnated spirit of the artist which is so original and poetic that it unintentionally takes your breath away, allowing you to miss the lost beauty of the world around and to enjoy the newly appeared magic of nature. And now we are talking not only about some contribution, but about creations of such artists which should not be lost in vain, but should be opened to everybody who cares about intellectual wealth of Russia which should not be depleted of its lustrous talents.
Spectators and readers, stop! Stand still and enjoy this meeting with artist Nikolay Ivanovich Kozyrin. You will not regret the time you spend examining the reproductions of his work and visiting such rare exhibitions.
