Romanian to English: FUNCTIONAL INVESTIGATION AND INTERVENTION IN THE CORE JOINT ATTENTION DEFICIT IN INFANTILE AUTISM General field: Social Sciences Detailed field: Psychology
Translation - English As expected, autistic children featured much lower success rates in joint attention than the mentally retarded or normally developed children. Moreover, statistic procedures of structural equations modeling emphasize the significant correlation existing between the success rate in ventromedial circuit tasks and joint attention, even if the mental age is added in the model as a variable with a significant effect. However, the success rate in dorsolateral factor does not correlate with joint attention.
