Die Kooperation ist ein Bestandteil der XXXX und XXXX.
Die Partner streben eine langfristige Zusammenarbeit an.
Ziel ist es, die Filmstandorte XXXX und XXXX effektiv zu entwickeln und zu befördern. Dabei wird der Austausch der Kompetenzen in diesem Bereicht angestrebt. Die Zusammenarbeit dient dem regelmäßigen Erfahrungsaustausch und der Netzwerkbildung.
§1 Umfang der Zusammenarbeit
1. Die Zusammenarbeit erstreckt sich auf die Aktivitäten der XXXX und der XXXX.
2. Die Zusammenarbeit richtet sich zunächst auf nachfolgende Punkte: regelmäßiger Austausch der leitenden Mitarbeiter, wechselseitige Präsentation der Drehstandorte, Vermittlung von Produktionen, Kooperation bei internationalen Coproduktionen.
3. Die Vertragspartner werden sich über alle entsprechenden Sachverhalte gegenseitig informieren, die für die Zusammenarbeit im Rahmen der formulierten Zielsetzungen notwendig sind.
§2 Umsetzung
1. Als Grundlage der Vereinbarung wird die verstärkte Kooperation verschiedenster Bereiche der XXXX und des Bundeslandes XXXX gesehen.
2. Aufgrund des gemeinsamen Mediums Film und der ähnlichen Aufgaben in diesem Bereich wird dies von den Parteien als ein Motor verstanden, weitere Projekte, im Sinne einer jeweils landesweiten Präsenz zu entwickeln und zu initiieren.
3. Die Partner streben für diese Projekte eine Kooperation auf allen Gebieten an. Diese werden Fallweise definiert.
4. Die Partner einigen sich bei gemeinsamen Projekten auf eine gemeinsame Vorgehensweise und Kommunikation gegenüber den entsprechenden Ebenen.
§3 Verschwiegenheit
Die Partner verpflichten sich, alle zur Kenntnis gebrachten Informationen streng geheim zu halten und nicht an Dritte weiterzugeben. Dies betrifft alle Informationen, die in schriftlicher Form, auf elektronischem Wege oder im Rahmen von persönlichen oder Arbeitsgesprächen zwischen den Partnern ausgetauscht werden.
Eine Veröffentlichung bedarf der Zustimmung des jeweiligen Partners.
§4 Kündigung
1. Die Vereinbarung kann von jedem Vertragspartner mit einer Frist von 3 Monaten zum Jahresende gekündigt werden. Laufende Projekte werden, so weit rechtlich und finanziell möglich, entsprechend dieser Vereinbarung zu Ende geführt.
2. Darüber hinaus haben beide Vertragspartner das Recht zur außerordentlichen Kündigung aus wichtigem Grund.
§5 Haftung
Die Partner haften einander ausschließlich für Vorsatz und grobe Fahrlässigkeit. Soweit zulässig und unabhängig vom Rechtsgrund ist jede darüber hinausgehende Haftung im Zusammenhang mit dieser Vereinbarung ausgeschlossen.
§6 Änderungen und Ergänzungen
Änderungen des Vertrages bedürfen der Schriftform.
Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen der Vertragspartner sind ausgeschlossen.
§7 Salvatorische Klausel
Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen dieser Vereinbarung ganz oder teilweise rechtsunwirksam oder nichtig sein oder werden, wird hierdurch die Gültigkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen nicht berührt. An die Stelle der unwirksamen oder nichtigen Bestimmung ist eine solche Bestimmung wirksam zu vereinbaren, die der unwirksamen oder nichtigen Bestimmung entspricht. Das gilt analog im Fall von etwaigen Vertragslücken.

Cooperation is a part of the collaboration between XXXX and XXXX.
The partners are striving for a long-term collaboration.
The goal is to effectively develop and promote the film industries of XXXX and XXXX . Thereby the aim is the exchange of expertise in this area . The collaboration is to be used for the regular exchange of experience and formation of networks.
§1 Scope of the collaboration
1. The collaboration covers the activities of the XXXX and the XXXX.
2. The collaboration is firstly to concentrate on the following points: regular exchange between managerial colleagues, reciprocal presentation of filming locations, intermediation for productions, and cooperation on international co-productions.
3. The contractual partners will inform each other of all relevant issues necessary for the collaboration within the scope of the verbalized objectives.
§2 Realization
1. Strengthened cooperation between all the different areas of the XXXX and the federal state of XXXX is seen to form the basis of the agreement.
2. Based on the common medium of film and the similar challenges in this area, the parties understand this to be the driving force to develop and initiate further projects for the purpose of a respective nationwide presence.
3. The partners are to strive for cooperation in all fields of activity for these projects. These are to be defined on a case by case basis.
4. The partners are to agree on a joint plan of action and communication for joint projects with respect to the appropriate levels.
§3 Discretion
The partners undertake to keep all information made known to them under the strictest confidence and not to pass it on to a third party. This applies to all information exchanged in written form, by electronic means or in the course of personal or work-related conversations between the partners.
Any publication requires the consent of the respective partner.
§4 Termination
1. The agreement can be terminated by any contractual partner by giving notice of three months at the end of the year. Ongoing projects will be completed, as far as is legally and financially possible, in accordance with this agreement.
2. Furthermore both contractual partners are entitled to extraordinary termination of the agreement if there is an important reason.
§5 Liability
The partners are mutually liable exclusively for deliberate acts and gross negligence. Any liability that goes beyond the scope of this agreement is excluded to the extent that is permissible and independent of legal grounds.
§6 Amendments and modifications
Amendments to the contract must be made in writing.
General terms and conditions of the contractual partners are excluded.
§7 Severability clause
If individual clauses of this agreement are, or become fully or partly legally null or void, the validity of the remaining clauses are hereby not affected. A similar clause corresponding to the null or void clause is to be efficiently agreed upon in the place of the null or void clause. This applies in the same way in the case of contractual loopholes, if there are any.

I hold an MA in German and Russian from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Sheffield.
As a student, I spent prolonged periods of time in both Germany (Otto-Friedrich-Universität, Bamberg) and Russia (Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow). Following my undergraduate degree I returned to Russia to work as an English Language Teacher at Omsk State University, Russia, where I taught, among other classes, Russian-English translation seminars.
After returning to the UK, I began my Masters at Sheffield. My dissertation focussed on the translation of advertising and promotional material from German into English, although I also had training in legal, scientific, medical and literary translation.
In October 2006 I moved out to Hong Kong where I worked as a researcher and writer for two legal directories focussing on intellectual property and business and financial law, and writing articles for international financial legal publications.
