I am a funky, young Australian woman currently taking a BA in Translation, majoring in Japanese. British-Australian dual citizen, native English speaker (Australian and British English), can translate into American English upon request. Specialising in Japanese to English translation.

After a high school exchange, I lived in Japan on and off for 5 years. I love the country, and I do my best to bring the subtle nuances of the language and the culture across into English.

I specialise in literature (including books, letters, general writings/communications, short stories, manga comics, magazine articles etc). I also translate websites and html, and am proficient with music and beauty/cosmetic terminology.



There is no project too small. My standard rate is US$0.04 per Japanese character, and my speed is about 1000 characters per 45 minutes. I charge US$20 per 1000 English words for proofing.

If you're after a short, urgent or personal project, prices and times can be negotiated.

I pride myself on my accuracy and speed. I've never received negative feedback for projects I've done; in fact, people love what I do.

I accept Paypal as my main form of payment. Other methods may be negotiated.
