My wife and I have been working as free-lance translators for 3 years. I am half-British, half-Serbian (on my mothers side), and I speak and write both languages fluently. Moreover, I have a degree in Russian language from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. My wife is Serbian, with a degree in English, as well as a Certificate from the Serbian Association of Technical and Scientific Translators (Udruzenje Strucnih i Naucnih Prevodilaca). We are currently working for UNICEF as translators/ copywriters.
Our areas of expertise are therefore as follows: English-Serbian translation and interpreting (and vice versa); English-Croatian translation (and vice versa); English-Bosnian translation (and vice versa); Russian-English translation.
We have done work on everything from medical texts, company websites, visa applications, medical journals, and engineering texts.
Among our satisfied customers are the Ministry of Energy and Mining in Belgrade, for whom we translated large parts of the current enery/mining laws as well as civil service laws (samples available on request); KOTRA (Korean Trade Centre) for whom we have interpreted on several occasions
