With a novel, disease-modifying vaccine for the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease in development, Pfizer and Janssen AI are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the early Alzheimer’s (EAD) experience. These insights will provide the teams with perspective on the unmet and under-met needs tied to the diagnosis and treatment of EAD that represent opportunities for Pfizer and Janssen AI to help motivate earlier diagnosis and engage with and forge a deeper connection with physicians, sufferers, and caregivers and ensure that.
Specific Objectives
An over-arching understanding of the diagnosis and treatment paradigm today: Map the key drivers and barriers that patients, caregivers, and HCPs face, capturing their experiences, challenges, frustrations, areas of satisfaction, fears, and behaviors.
The addressable EAD population: Mine the HCP perspective on how to identify patients who fall/have a high risk of falling into this classification, and the “why” behind their screening approach.
Feedback on screening requirements and tools: Expose respondents to new and existing tools, tests and guidelines, and explore level of interest in; perceptions of; and potential use of them, and explore the impact on seeking earlier diagnosis.
Feedback on treatment value propositions: Explore expectations, receptivity, and the risk-benefit tradeoff.
