Experience
Years of experience: 20. Registered at ProZ.com: Nov 2009.
I am a software engineer who is French Canadian and has been living in the USA for the past 8 years. I have done some translation work in the past (software, web and documents on other freelance sites). I have also done other translation work including a whole 900 page programming book from the French edition to an English edition which I self-published (Practical .NET).
I also do have some publishing background as I have written and self-published 2 books as well as authored and edited several other computer related titles.
I do have a daytime job so can generally do much more work on weekends than weekdays. But I would estimate an average of 5000 words/week but can also handle larger jobs at around 15,000 words/week if needed.
Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
