I have a BA in English as a first language and German as a second language from the Faculty of Languages"Al-Alsun"Ain Shams University,Cairo,Egypt,1997.Since then I have been working as a translator translating from Arabic into English and vice versa.In addition to this,due to my study of German and French,I have worked as a translator from French and German into Arabic.

Besides,I have done some freelancing work in the English department for islamonline website. Also, I worked in a team translating some technical computer books from English into Arabic. English language teaching and tutoring was one of the things I did in Cairo as well. I've been living in Scotland for three years in which I enhanced my career through further studies.I achieved a diploma in Public Service Interpreting(DPSI)in Scottish Law 2005 from the Institute of Linguists in London. The diploma covers the simultaneous and consecutive interpreting from and into Arabic and English as well as the written and sight translation in the same language pairs. I attended the same course in medical translations.Yet,I took the exam in law.I have the European Computer Driving License(ECDL). I volunteered in a couple of non profitable organization in Glasgow for helping the ethnic minorities in the local community. I did some Arabic and English tutoring . Besides, I do proofreading in Arabic and English.
