With over 10 years management experience in the localisation industry, I have been responsible for the language services department of a financial service provider in Zurich for over 9 years. I have worked for a multinational provider of translation and document management-related services, covering the position of Business Unit Manager for all services (translation, terminology management, localisation) offered to the banking and finance clients (banks, insurance companies).

Apart from my experience on both the client and on the provider side, I am a multicultural personality who speaks and writes fluently in five European languages: Spanish, English, German, French and Italian. I hold a degree in conference interpreting as well as architecture. In addition to that, I am a certified terminologist and have a certificate in Corporate Communications.

In Switzerland, I am recognised as a language industry professional, having published several technical papers and having spoken at several conferences on topics such as translation, terminology management and localisation. I am currently participating as an expert in several terminology expert groups. Finally, I am involved in the activities of the committee of the Swiss Association of Translators (responsible for the International Relations Committee since 2007) and can therefore also offer institutional experience and a large professional network within the country and European-wide.
