assam is an interesting state in the the north-eastern part of india. a chicken-neck at siliguri connects it to mainstream india. we rare a cool people, and surely, being in one of the most rain-fed areas of the world , what e;se can you expect? we rea very rich traditionally, linguistically and folkloristically. but there's no website which can be a platform for these resources to be seen , known or used by the rest of the world. i would like to start one but need all sorts of help.
