I have been a translator and interpreter for 16 years. Before working in this field I was a biomedical researcher for 8 years at a Mexican university. Hence, my expertise is in the biomedical field. I am certified as a Court Interpreter in the State of California (1990) and the United States District Courts (1993). I am an ATA certified English to Spanish translator (1992). My experience includes conference interpreting, specializing in Environmental and pharmaceutical and medical topics. My academic background includes a bachelor degree in biology and master degree studies in psychobiology as well as one and a half years of doctoral studies in psychobiology at Rutgers University.
