Holder of a 1st year of Masters Degree in Technical and Scientific Translation and Documentation specialized in Sports and Medecine, I have also studied interpreting and literary translation. I have been trained to use all the following translation pairs, as much for translation as for interpreting: ENG>FR; FR>ENG; SPA>FR; FR>SPA

I have been working as a Localization Specialist in the video games industry since February 2011, first in Amsterdam and now in Beijing, for the same company.
My tasks in Amsterdam consisted of testing the ingame content as well as translating it. I was also in charge of the marketing and community texts translation (Press releases, blog posts...). I had to deal with very short deadlines in terms of translation and of Quality Assurance before a content went live and I am used to handling such pressure and situations.
Since I've been in Beijing, although my job title is the same as in Amsterdam, I have actually been working as a full time translator. My tasks now involve translating the content of all the company's online games within a team of 4 French native translators, and to respect the deadlines.

Furthermore, I decided to start as a freelance translator a few months ago after starting to get requests from friends and professionals. That has allowed me to handle other translation projects, mostly from English to French so far.
As I have a full time job on top of my freelance job, I am only able to work on evenings and weekends as a freelancer but I am always on the lookout for new and interesting projects.

Although I'm still a junior in the translation/interpreting domain, I've had the opportunity to build up some solid experience over the past two years and I would like to strengthen what I've learnt and broaden my possibilities by doing different types of translation works.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to know more. I would be happy to provide you with further details.
