Bio
I am a Dutch native speaker who lived in Ireland for almost 30 years and is currently residing (and teaching) in China. I have been a professional translator since 1976, mainly doing literary fiction (English-Dutch) and (literary) non-fiction (English-Dutch and Dutch-English). I am also the house translator/corrector for the chess magazine New in Chess (translating from Dutch, German, French and Czech into English), and in the course of those 30 years I have translated many chess- and bridge-related articles and books, as well as software manuals and legal documents.
