Hello!
I am English (born in the UK), but have lived in many different countries (France, The Netherlands, Spain, Chile, UK). Consequently, from a very young age I have been exposed to foreign languages, enabling me to quickly pick up new languages and master the intricacies of second language acquisition. While I can understand and communicate in many different languages (French, Dutch, Portuguese, Icelandic) I speak Spanish (and English obviously) to native level, having studied it at University (where I achieved a First in all modules). I also spent a year in Spain as an ERASMUS student, 10 weeks in Chile as an English teacher and a year in Spain again working as a customer assistant (in Spanish) in a bakery, and as a self-employed English teacher. I have worked on a few translations (one biological-scientific text, numerous CVs and motivational letters), I have a BULATS certificate in Spanish (level C2) and my girlfriend of 3-years is Spanish, which naturally helps!
While I am not very experienced I do offer exceedingly affordable rates and my knowledge both of the intricacies of the English and Spanish languages insures that my translations will be accurate and professional. I am young and dynamic and have experience with languages. Sure, I have a lot to learn, but I work hard and am full of dynamism! You can't go wrong with me!
