Dear Sir & Madam,
I am an positive, active, and independent person. Since my childhood, I have been loving reading books. I majored in English and American Literature in Tung-Hai University, took some Chinese Literature courses, and read many books about sociology, literature, and philosophy.
After several years’ translation work, my language ability and knowledge was developed further. Then, my classmate introduced me to work as a buyer in an electronic company. In this job, I learned relative electrical knowledge through daily electronic paper, internet and other trade information. I also learned interpersonal relationship and the importance of cooperation. The company adopted ERP System to manage Purchase Order and Stock process. I communicated with internal departments, vendors, and international customers via email to control the electronic material. This is the first time I contacted with the marvelous computer and internet world. The most important of all, I used office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to make graphs, reports and briefs to present in the meeting, and it trained my organization and logic capability.
Then I went back to my hometown to work as an sales assistant. My job responsibility was to help my manager translate Emails and wrote Emails to the customers in order to assign relative work to different departments. Some time later, I returned to work as a freelancer, translating a book for Olbook and various documents for Translation Companies. Then owing to interesting in translating, I went to Taipei to work as an in-house translator.
I am now working as a sales assistant. Actually I work as a sales person. My duty include develop new customers abroad, introduce our products to them and start a process of inquiry, quotation, order-placing, ost service. Periodically I went with my boss to Thailand as a business trip, learning different country’s culture and the value of respect and courtesy.
I hope you value my capability and experience and consider it as your company’s partial assets. Wish I can grow with your company, as I could with my former companies. Let the company and I grow up at the same time!!! |
