Source text - English Some chemical substances have great physiological importance in the organism’s life. In this category we find the hormones (secreted in small quantities, but having major effects over organism development), enzymes, vitamins and chemical mediators (adrenalin, acetylcholine – substances that determine or modulate the organ activity intensity). Enzymes are proteins with the capacity to catalyze (accelerate) some chemical reactions without suffering any quantity or quality alterations. The substances that join the reaction are called the substrate, while the substances resulted from the reaction are called the reaction product. Enzymes are present in the human body, having a very important influence over the intensity of metabolic reactions.
Translation - Arabic إن لبعض المواد الكيميائية أهمية فسيولوجية كبيرة فى حياة الكائنات الحية . ونندرج الهرمونات تحت هذه الفئة ( تفرز بكميات قليلة ولكن لها تأثيرات كبيرة فى نمو الكائن), الإنزيمات , الفيتامينات والوسائط الكيميائية ( ادرينالين , مادة أسيتيل كولين التى تحدد او تعدّل كثافة نشاط العضو). الانزيمات هى بروتينات لها قدرة على تحفيز (تسريع) بعض التفاعلات الكيميائية بدون احداث تغييرات فى الكمّ أو النوع. تسمى المواد التى تدخل فى التفاعل بالركيزة بينما التى تنتج من التفاعل بناتج التفاعل. توجد الإنزيمات فى جسم الإنسان, ولها تأثير هام جدا على كثافة تفاعلات عملية الأيض .
