Dear Madam/Sir,
I specialized in English in my college, since I studied very hard and had excellent performance in the exams I was awarded the Level I scholarship (the highest level) all through my college years. In addition to the scholarship I won, the most important is I acquired a good command of English translation skills, a good knowledge of English culture and the great differences between the two languages, which, according to my experience, is of great importance to a good translation.
An excellent translator requires good language skills, strong comprehension ability, and an expertise in the field of translated document. Of course, professional ethic is essential. I won’t start translation immediately after I receive the project or simply guess the meaning for the uncertain content just for earlier completion, instead, I will make sufficient preparation first and check them carefully or consult with experts in the fields I knew in order to ensure the accuracy of my understanding and translation even it means I have to work longer and sleep less.
My customers increase continuously as the time goes, so do the good comments I received from them, I ascribe this to my constantly improved translation skills, conscientious attitude toward work and great sense of responsibility.
Translation is my lifelong career. I will work harder in the future to better meet customers’ requirements for high quality translation.
Looking forward to working for you. |
