I work in a geotechnical engineering firm, but I have done research in construction, civil, and architectural engineering. My research has ranged from water resources to indoor air quality to energy generation cost savings. Spanish is my first language, but I grew up in Texas. I have also worked as a translator at Ben Taub Hospital, a mostly spanish speaking state hospital in Houston.
