I am an English/Portuguese-to-Spanish translator with over 10 years of experience in the translation and copyediting of both highly technical and general texts. As a certified and sworn translator, I have worked mainly in the area of Healthcare and Life Science, with texts as diverse as clinical trials, informed consent forms, health insurance policies and user guides, among several others. That has allowed me, on the one hand, to professionally handle heavy workloads and meet tight deadlines while maintaining top quality, and, on the other hand, to become familiar with the multi-step translation process. Throughout my 10-year career, I have also acquired a great set of computer skills, including a wide range of latest CAT and QA tools, and abilities to efficiently and thoroughly research specific terminology in reliable sources of information.I am curious, passionate about languages, an avid reader, fast learner and more than willing to go the extra mile in order to make sure the projects I participate in succeed. Furthermore, I am versatile and always pay great attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.In addition to providing linguistic services, I am currently a teaching assistant at the School of Languages of the National University of Rosario (Universidad Nacional de Rosario) one of Latin America’s major educational institutions.
