I have been encouraged to post my profile by my long and diversified work experience as a senior Editor/Translator (English/Arabic/English) in the media career in general and print journalism in particular for more than 25 years in Egypt and in the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia and Qatar).
Over the past 25 years, I had worked for a number of leading press organizations, including largest-circulated economic daily newspapers, global news agencies, and financial weekly magazines, together with a long work experience in translating from English into Arabic and vice versa, editing and proofreading skills, computer and internet skills.

Meanwhile, I have also translated a number of English language books in different fields during the past ten years of which the most recent was titled (Understanding Contemporary Middle East), which contained a full chapter on the economies of the Middle East countries, together with another book on the development and the banking industry in Asia.

I am presently working as a senior Translator/Editor /head of the translation section of the Muscat-based daily (Al-Watan).
