Born in Ex-Yugoslavia, I grew up in French and English-speaking countries and currently reside in Lyon, France. English is my best (native) language and it is therefore always also my target language when translating.
I have linguistic and translation qualifications from the University of Cambridge where I graduated with an MA and BA in Modern Languages (French and Italian translation). I went on to complete a Professional Masters degree in European Affairs at Sciences Po, Paris.
I have proofreading and translating experience in a large range of areas including academia, European politics, energy, corporate communication, environmental policy and the culinary field. I also have a focus on arts and culture, enjoy translating poetry and subtitling documentaries.
As a French<>English sequential interpreter, I have worked for a number of organisations in the field of immigration (NIJC, Heartland Alliance, Kovler Center), as well as in medical settings.
