Source text - Russian Традиционно, русский православный храм может быть построен в форме “корабля” (прямоугольной формы в плане). Эта форма является символом спасения в житейском море, полном бурь, и возможности достигнуть мирной пристани - Царствия Божьего. Храм может быть также в форме креста, символизируя крест Христов; в форме круга, символизируя вечность или быть восьмигранной формы, символизируя Вифлиемскую звезду, которая указывает путь к спасению.
Translation - Italian Secondo la tradizione la chiesa ortodossa russa può essere costruita a forma di “nave” (con la pianta a forma rettangolare). Questa forma rappresenta un simbolo di salvezza nel mare della vita, pieno di tempeste, e la possibilità di raggiungere un porto sicuro: il Regno di Dio. La chiesa può anche avere la forma di una croce, a simboleggiare la croce di Cristo; la forma circolare, invece, rappresenta l’eternità, mentre quella ottagonale simboleggia la stella di Betlemme, che indica la via della salvezza.
