I was born in Estonia and received my early education there. I live and work in Seattle, Washington, USA. I have a Master of Science degree from Purdue University. In 1991 I was appointed Honorary Consul for the Republic of Estonia, posted in Seattle.
As a Consul, I translate documents from Estonian to English and from English to Estonian. I also authenticate and certify translations prepared by others. I was one of two translators to Estonia's Prime Minister on his trade mission to Japan. I was a translator to Estonia's Environmental Minsiter on his trip to Washington, D.C., including the White House. I have been an interpreter in the Washington State Superior Court in a criminal case. My most recent translation was for Pfiser Pharmaseutical Company on drug testing. |
