Source text - English Since 1975, Hat Hut Records has established, and maintained, a worldwide reputation for releasing music that is challenging and meaningful, historically significant and unceasingly innovative. We take pride in having been a necessary voice in the ongoing struggle for cultural awareness, artistic diversity, and musical creativity for more than 37 years. But now that voice is in danger of being silenced.
Times change, and technology changes, but established artists continue to require an outlet for their creative endeavors, and young musicians with a new vision deserve to be supported. I am convinced that this music still has a crucial role to play in our future, even if the methods of documentation and distribution are changing. Personally, I started listening to music at the time when 78s were being replaced by the new 33 1/3 format. As a record producer I started with LPs and was soon faced with the industry’s switch to CDs. Now the CD may disappear in a few years, as digital downloading systems increase in usage and popularity. Whatever new technology may appear, Hat Hut Records is committed to serving the creative musician and the creative listening public. However, we are no longer able to do this on our own. We need your help.

Nous sommes fiers d’avoir été pendant plus de 37 ans une voix nécessaire dans la lutte continue pour la conscience culturelle, la diversité artistique et la créativité musicale. Mais aujourd’hui cette voix risque d’être réduite au silence.
Les temps changent, la technologie évolue, mais les artistes réputés continuent à avoir besoin d’un espace pour leurs efforts créatifs, tout comme les jeunes musiciens au regard neuf méritent d’être soutenus. Je suis convaincu que cette musique a encore un rôle crucial à jouer pour l’avenir, même si les méthodes de documentation et de distribution sont bouleversées. Personnellement, j’ai commencé à écouter de la musique au temps où le format 78 tours était peu à peu remplacé par les nouveaux 33 tours. A stew bubbled away over a fire. In the middle of the room was a table, with seven little chairs all set for dinner. In front of every chair there was a spoon, a bowl of stew, and a plate with bread.
Snow White was still hungry. She had a small mouthful of soup from each of the bowls, and a nibble of bread from each plate.
Translation - French Blanche Neige grimpa lentement en direction de la petite maisonnette. Quand elle frappa à la porte, celle-ci s’ouvrit. Il n’y avait personne. À l’intérieur, tout était si petit ! « Des enfants doivent vivre ici », pensa-t-elle.
Un potage mijotait à petits bouillons. Au milieu de la pièce se trouvait une table avec sept petites assiettes dressées pour le dîner. Devant chaque chaise, il y avait une cuillère, un bol de soupe et une assiette avec du pain.
Blanche Neige avait encore très faim. Elle but une petite gorgée de soupe dans chaque bol, et mangea une bouchée de pain dans chaque assiette.
