I am seeking mentally gratifying employment opportunities where I can effectively utilize my skills in postgraduate level critical reading, thinking, and writing.
I just graduated from Wake Forest University with a Master in religious studies and an accumulative GPA of 3.93. This is my second Master’s degree following my previous Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University.
I am a native of Shanghai, China who has been actively engaging in Liberal Studies here in the US for a decade. I majored in French in a grammar school where English was the instructional language. Although a native speaker of Chinese, I was awarded full scholarship by Colgate for the competence I exhibited in my essays. As early as in my freshman year, I was pointedly designated research and editorial faculty assistant by both Religion and English departments. Although I am degreed at the Master level in Humanities disciplines, I am also learned in social sciences subjects. I concentrated in Political Science as an undergrad at Colgate University. As part of my duty during a DC internship, I frequently worked with news reports and policy briefings from around the world. During my study at Colgate, I was invited on a creative writing project at the English department. In other words, I am comfortable with research and writing on divergent subjects.
In addition, following my graduation from college and before matriculation at Harvard, I worked for one full year in a New York trade school as counselor for international students on issues of visa application and life in America. I am also now freelancing in consumer insight strategic planning. In other words, I believe myself well equipped with the skills and experiences that would well suit various administrative and communication purposes with diverse clientele.
