Hi there! My name is Mac, and I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz. UCSC has a renowned Linguistics program, and having earned a BA in the Language Studies department, I was fortunate enough to take numerous classes with incredible linguistics professors. Having had the opportunity to study language at its most scientific level - from syntax and morphology to semantics and pragmatics - I have gained a keen appreciation for the written and spoken word. This appreciation, coupled with my fluency in Spanish and my fascination with the world's cultures (I also hold a BA in Latin American/Latino Studies), has provided an excellent base for my translation career. Although I am relatively new as a professional translator, the projects which I have completed highlight my natural abilities in the field and ensure that my translations will always meet the highest standards.
