I am passionate about languages and culture and delight in immersing myself in source texts in order to reproduce them in the marvelous English language.
My undergraduate degree education in applied European languages gave me a lot of practice in translation and the opportunity to learn about fields of economics and law in English, Spanish and French.
My time living in abroad in Chile, France and Spain has allowed me to develop a strong cultural awareness and knowledge for dealing with source texts in Spanish and French.
The Masters in Chilean and Spanish American Literature I did at Pontificia Universidad de Valparaiso in Chile gave me a great insight into Latin American culture and greatly developed my reading skills in Spanish.
In view of my education, as a translator I especially like to deal with Spanish and French source texts in fields of literature, business and law.
