I am a native Portuguese speaker providing Translation services from English into Portuguese, and from Portuguese into English. I have been providing Translator services in the Business, Banking, International Commerce (Import/Export), Computers, Financial, Legal, Marketing, Human Resources, Medical, Tourism, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Environment, Fashion, Media and the Arts and Literary fields since 2001. I currently live in Ribeirao Preto – SP – Brazil.

I have formerly worked as a certified English teacher (Michigan Proficiency Certificate – USA) for children, teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced levels in several private schools as well as private classes for adults for 17 years. I have a B.A. in International Relations, MBA in Business Studies and I a Postgraduate Degree in Translation Studies and Interpretation. I have lived and studied for three years in the USA (Long Beach – CA) and for one year in Italy (Florence and Turin). I have also worked for 12 years in the Banking Industry specifically in the Import/Export, Logistics and Legal Departments. My linguistic skills are well developed without sounding too formal or colloquial, unless appropriate.

I have translated a vast array of materials, from marketing brochures and business websites to official and technical texts for immigration law offices as well as literary texts.
