About 14 years I worked by BMW company in Ukraine, but the company's name is AWT Bavaria. Previously Bank Austria Creditanstalt was the owner of the Ukrainian BMW dealer, so the name AWT remained as ... a cattle brand :-) on the company. I started by it as a translator & interpreter in 1999. I've made a lot of translations, such as juridical, technical, bookkeeping documentation as well as everyday business e-mails in German and English. In 4 years after the beginning by the company I decided to take a chance and gain some experience as a logistics specialist also a sales person (wholesale of BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce, Alpina, Lumma, Husquarna spare parts to dealers within Ukrainian dealer net). I've got knowledge of business processes in auto branch, especially by translating technical documentation and issuing foreign-economic contracts, negotiating its paragraphs.
Meanwhile I also worked as a freelancer for various translation bureaus and private persons with various specializations: medicine, pharmaceuticals, construction, electronics, localizations, manuals, documentations, so... not to be lazy... :-).
Before gaining a position as a translator by the above company I worked as a lecturer by the Institute for municipal management and business teaching German and as a teacher by State's Courses in foreign languages in Kyiv. But gaining deep knowledge in foreign languages by making translations is my priority. So translation and freelancing are my main jobs.
