I'm a mathematician turned interpreter-subtitler-translator through a passion for languages, and now a Court Interpreter for the State of Florida working in Miami-Dade County.

Being an avid reader of everything written, having threaded in different organizations and trades: teaching, oil sales and transportation, paper mills, import-export of chemical products, and music, I possess the experience, the necessary acquaintances of so many matters and situations to deal confidently with most subtitling-translation-interpretation work around, including films like "Hamlet," and "Much Ado About Nothing", "The Matrix" trilogy, birth certificates, or charter parties.


Under my belt, I have more than a decade of work as a subtitler/proof reader for HBO Latin America Group, founding and acting a customer relations director of a very modest, but highly regarded for his professionalism and reliability, translation company, Language Management Inc., writing short stories, reading about economics, business, politics, world affairs, astrophysics, composing music for guitar, and much more. That is an all around experience that proves invaluable when working with documentaries, history films, political thrillers, or technical translations.


The Sopranos, The Wire, The Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire, Oz, Six Feet Under, Trueblood, E! News, Friends, Supernatural, are just a small sample of all the cable Tv series I have had the honor of subtitling, some of them, like The Sopranos Season 5, all by myself, for HBO LAG. I thrive on challenges, I love learning new things, I feel at ease in front of a PC, I'm proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, Transtation TM, and SoftNI, I'm used to work under pressure and narrow time frames, and on top of that I'm currently completing a Certificate in Interpreting at Florida International University, and looking for ATA certification.
