***I have a BA in French with European Studies. I have studied in France and lived in Paris.

My area of study include traditional translation technique with both narrative and journalistic sources. I have also studied Translation theory and the in particular the importance of translation for marketing purposes.

I have professional experience in helping to launch the French cooking tablet 'Qook' onto the American market. On this project I worked on the translation/proofreading team.

I have also completed tasks for the French electronic music festival 'Astropolis' with correspondence to their anglophone contacts, which has included Partnership proposals.

I have a keen interest in the translation of French to English for subjects such as cosmetics/fashion/music and leisure.

I am up to date with the current French culture trends in these area and I am able to translate effectively to the target language and market.***
