Source text - English Calf Starter Feed;
Used when feeding 0-3 months old calves. Can be given four days upon birth. In order to familiarize calves with feed, they can be scattered around the milk container of calves or care workers may hold a handful of this feed and let calves lick it to get the taste. Calves should be familiarized with the feed in a few days. Five liters of milk per day is enough during the first five weeks of calves. This amount lowers to three liters between 5-9 weeks. Calves may have difficulties with familiarizing with the feed if they drink too much milk. Calves should be weaned towards the end of second month.
Calf Grower Feed;
Used when calves are 3-6 months old. Calves should be fed with quality roughage (clover, sainfoin , vetch, oat) along with calf grower feed.
Heifer and Pregnant Heifer Feed;
Fed to heifers and pregnant heifers from the sixth month until the last three weeks before the delivery. Also used to feed cows that are in their dry period.
Translation - Turkish Buzağı Başlangıç Yemi;
0-3 ay arası buzağıların beslenmesinde kullanılır. Doğumun dördüncü gününden itibaren verilebilir. Buzağıları yeme alıştırmak için süt içtiği kabın kenarlarına yem eklenerek yemin tadını alması sağlanır veya bakıcı avucuna koyduğu yemi yalatmak suretiyle buzağıları yeme alıştırır. Buzağılar birkaç gün içinde yeme alışacaktır. Buzağılara ilk beş hafta günde beş litre, 5-9 haftalar arası üç litre süt yeterlidir. Daha fazla süt içirilecek olursa buzağının yeme alışması güçleşecektir. İkinci ayın sonuna doğru buzağılar sütten kesilmelidir.
Buzağı Büyütme Yemi;
3-6 aylık buzağıların beslenmesinde kullanılır. Buzağılara büyütme yeminin yanında kaliteli kaba yemler de (yonca, korunga, fiğ, yulaf) mutlaka verilmelidir.
Düve ve Gebe Düve Yemi;
Altıncı aydan doğum öncesi son üç haftaya kadar düve , gebe düve ve kuru döneme ayrılan ineklerin beslenmesinde kullanılır.
