I translate and interpret from Czech, Indonesian and English and have a decent knowledge of German.
I am a native speaker of Czech and have majored in Indonesian Language and Literature and American and English Literature at the Charles University in Prague. I have also spent five years studying the Indonesian language and culture at several Indonesian universities, including the well-known Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, and a year studying in England.
I have worked for five years as an interpretor and translator at the Indonesian Embassy in Prague. Apart from regular interpreting and translating assignments for Indonesian ambassadors and diplomats I have interpreted for many high-ranking Indonesian and Czech officials and well-known cultural figures. I usually work on translations with my Indonesian husband and thus can provide you with accurate translations.
I am a sworn translator and interpreter of Czech-Indonesian (legal documents).
I have taught English at an Indonesian university and Czech language and secondary schools. I have taught Indonesian at various levels of proficiency. |
