Bio
Coming from a very small village with a passion for the British culture, I studied Foreign language, graduated in Technical translation and mastered in Localization.

I started working as a freelance translator in 2014, being always up to date with technology: CAT tools, MTPE, QA tools and now AI.

During the years I have mastered post-editing for Patents, helped many organizations in the IT field successfully communicate with their clients, conveying the right meaning in the right context, and followed my passion about TV series translating some Amazon contents.

Having had some eye problem since when I was a child, I have always been interested in the medical field, in particular Ophthalmology. So I started some studies, read some articles, got in touch with doctors and translated some research articles. Finally, with the collaboration of two wonderful colleagues, I translated 3 books:
➢ Fortunato M., CATARACT SURGERY in CHILDREN: My whole life dedicated to the development of pediatric implantology and visual rehabilitation, 2022, Booxury Premium Publishing
➢ Fortunato M., OCT Angiography in Children, 2022
➢ Fortunato M., FROM PSEUDO-ACCOMODATIVE IOLS TO FEMTOSECOND LASER: my whole life dedicated to the development of cataract surgery in children, 2018, Zaccaria Editore

I am a reliable person, always interested in new opportunities and challenges
