Professional practices Chase Faucheux endorses's Professional Guidelines.

A translation should never read like a translation. That's my simple philosophy.

Whether you're a luxury hotel or a small town with a world of history to share, you reach people by speaking to them in the language they know. When it comes to tourism in Europe, English is everywhere. But what really stands out is clear, idiomatic English that sounds like it was written for native speakers by a native speaker.

I'm a native speaker of English with years of experience as a language professional, both in the United States and in Germany. Armed with deep metalinguistic sensibilities and a tenacious dedication to research borne out of my education in linguistics and practical experience as a translator and teacher, I will not rest until I can produce a translation that sounds as natural in English as it does in German.

My certifications include a Diploma in Translation (German-English) from the Chartered Institute of Linguists, as well as a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Louisiana State University.
