I recently completed an MA in American Studies, with a special focus on the literary representation of trauma in contemporary literature. Over the course of my studies I have developed very strong writing and editorial skills in English. I am currently based in Berlin, but grew up in France in a bilingual environment (French and German). I also spent two years studying English and working in Canada (Vancouver and Ottawa). I am fluent in the three languages, and use them every day.

I am looking for translation jobs in order to use my skills in a meaningful way, as well as to expand my knowledge of languages, but also because I find the act of translating highly interesting and intellectually very stimulating.

I have done translation before, and the flexibility of my current schedule makes it easy for to meet deadlines.
