For commuters or busy working types, the ability to jump on your smartphone to play your favourite game, has meant an explosion in the uptake of gaming by people who may not have given it much thought previously.

Originally qualified and experienced as a secondary school teacher for English as a Foreign Language and Latin (1. & 2. Staatsexamen), I now work as a freelance translator from English to German, specializing in Literature, the ancient world, education, and theology.
