Hi,

I am Svetlana, native Russian based in Ireland. I completed my MS in linguistics and translation studies in 2011 in Russia and since then I have been working as a freelance translator. I also have working experience as in-house translator and interpreter but as long as I prefer working independently and due to my family circumstances live between three countries (Ireland, Italy and Russia), I decided to work as a freelancer.

The flexibility while working independently allowed me to get different from translations working experience in such fields of business as Finance, Accounting, Teaching, Tourism and Quality Assurance in Digital Marketing. In meanwhile, I have also graduated as a Web Developer from Griffith College in Dublin.

This combination was my intentional choice as I have always enjoyed working at localisation projects doing translations of websites and mobile applications, so I got curious to widen my knowledge and learn more about the web development and web design.

Currently, I also work as a web developer thus, due to the heavy workload, I am only open for the translation jobs of the websites and web/mobile applications from Italian and English into Russian.

As a developer, I specialise in front-end design, user experience and usability aspects, so I can guarantee you the high quality of the translation of your website or mobile application. I will do my very best to make it as local as possible and adapt the language for the target audience and culture market.
