Source text - English The Volunteer Program has opportunities to work in diferent projects. Here are two interesting and famous projects in South America.
a) Turtle Rescue project: The Turtle Rescue project attends to differents species of turtles. It is possible to work with Baula Turtle from October to February and Olive Ridley Turtles from May to September. From March to July the project attends to the Leatherback Turtles. These kinds of turtles are threatened to extinction due to over hervesting off eggs, pollution, and fishing for their meat and leather.
b) Forest habitats protection projects: In South America there are some non-profit organizations dedicated to nationally and internattionaly famous biological reserves. These organizations are considered an important reference in the development of environmental education. Volunteers may take part in research, education, community service, plant conservation, and other activities carried out in some biological reserves.
Translation - Portuguese O Programa de Voluntários oferece a oportunidade de trabalhar em projetos variados. Eis dois projetos interessantes e conhecidos na América do Sul.
a) Projeto Resgate às Tartarugas: O projeto Resgate às Tartarugas cuida de diferentes espécies de tartarugas. Você poderá trabalhar com a tartaruga baula de outubro a fevereiro e com a tartaruga-oliva de maio a setembro. De março a julho, o projeto auxilia a tartaruga-de-couro. Essas espécies de tartarugas estão ameaçadas de extinção devido à busca excessiva pelos seus ovos, à poluição e pesca pela carne e couro.
b) Projeto de Proteção às Florestas: Organizações sem fins lucrativos na América do Sul dedicadas a ajudar reservas biológicas conhecidas nacional e mundialmente. Essas organizações são consideradas referência no desenvolvimento da educação ambiental. Voluntários podem participar de pesquisas, atividades educativas, serviços comunitários, preservação de plantas e outras atividades realizadas em algumas reservas biológicas.

I am a certified translator from English to Brazilian Portuguese since December 2017 and I excelled in many activities related to translation and simultaneous interpreting at college.
I have experience in the literary, educational and medical fields. In addition to translating, I also write subtitles for videos. I have been to Italy for two months in 2016 where I had the opportunity of practicing my language skills with both English and Italian.
My language skills include advanced knowledge of English and basic knowledge of both Spanish and Italian languages. I follow an autodidact learning approach and work constantly on my improvement.
My main translation pairs are English to Brazilian Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese to English. I usually don't translate anything from or to Spanish or Italian so far except for training.
