Library of Alexandria
brief comment about the ancient library which was the greatest and largest library in ancient world, it was founded in 288 b.c , by ptolemy1 the successor of Alexander the great, it held large number of volumes and papyrus rolls in it, that’s happened by decree from Ptolemy ll he ordered the visitors of the city required to surrender all books and scrolls in their procession , they were copied by official scribes the copies were delivered to the previous owner and the original were kept in the library
• not that only Ptolemy also sent representative throughout the world to collect reference works , the huge number of original books inside it made the great thinker of this period flanked to the library to study and exchange idea, but unfortunately it was completely destroyed due to huge fire happened in it more than once
• That wasn’t the end of this legend building as after 2000 years the Egyptian government and UNESCO combined their offer to revive the great library.

مكتبة الاسكندرية
تعليق مختصر عن مكتبة الاسكندرية القديمة التى كانت اعظم واكبر مكتبة فى العالم القديم,لقد تأسست فى 288 قبل الميلاد بواسطة بطليموس الاول الذى كان خليفة للاسكندر الاكبر, لقد احتوت على عدد كبير من المجلدات ولفائف البردى , ذلك حدث بواسطة مرسوم من بطليموس الثانى حيث امر كل زوار المدينة يسلموا كل الكتب والفائف التى لديهم ,كان يتم استنساخ هذه الكتب بواسطةالموظف الكاتب , النسخ كان يتم تسليمها للمالك السابق بينما النسخة الاصلية يتم حفظها فى المكتبة
ليس هذا فقط بطليموس ايضاارسل مندوبين الى كل العالم ليجمعوا المراجع ,بسبب هذا العدد الهائل من الكتب الاصلية بداخلها جعلت اعظم المفكريين لهذه المرحلة يوفدون الى المكتبة للدراسة ولتبادل الافكار, ولكن لسوء الحظ اتدمرت نهائيا نتيجة حريق هائل حدث فيه اكثر من مره.
هذه لم تكن نهايىة هذا المبنى الاسطورى حيث بعد 2000 عام الحكومة المصرية ومنظمة اليونسكو وحدوا جهودهم للاعادة احياء هذه المكتبة العظيمة |
