My speciality is language, especially linguistics, but I take a rather broad perspective on the relationships between language and other aspects of life, and therefore am prepared to deal with documents in a wide range of fields.
I have been studying foreign languages for over 15 years. During that time I double majored in Spanish and Latin at the University of Virginia and am now finishing my dissertation on the development of past tense forms in Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese at the University of California at Berkeley. I am a published researcher and have almost ten years' experience as an instructor of language and linguistics at Berkeley and TCU in Fort Worth. |
