Der ÜBERSetzer ("Your TRANSLator")... that's me...
A passionate and very experienced translator, interpreter as well as language tutor. At the same time I am an extremely passionate and ambitious screenwriter and author of short stories in German as well as in English.
Besides having a broad knowledge in various fields of arts and science due to my studies at the University / University of Applied Science (law / social work) but even more because of my endless curiosity for languages, life itself as well as human behaviour, I have been combining and professionalising my writing skills (started writing stories at the age of 5) for more than 10 years.
I am as much as a language expert as I am an enthusiast and possess a very strong instinctive feeling ability for languages. It represents the most part of my life due to the fact that I teach English and German every day to German students, adults, Business people of all age groups and in virtue of regularly translating all kind of texts from English into German and vice versa. At last my almost complete consumption of media (Internet, TV, Radio) in English for the past 10 years, including a student exchange year in the USA during which I actively freelanced as a language tutor, translator and interpreter (2004-2005), have contributed to my native speaker abilities in the English language. As I have been growing up in Germany, I'm already a German native speaker.
Phrasing technical terms of any field of work / profession and phrasing in general, whether in English or in German, represent just one of my most powerful strengths.
